SAN CARLOS CITY, Pangasinan – Schools Division Office – San Carlos City has strengthened its link with the Parent-Teacher Association and Barangay officials through the Partnership Advocacy Party held at Don Federico Mandapat Sports Dome, Central II ES, July 31 in the afternoon.
It was the first time that PTA and Barangay officials were gathered to heed the accomplishments of the division led by Schools Division Superintendent Sheila Marie A. Primicias in the academic year 2017-2018.
“Anggapo so nagawaan na aray principal tan school heads ed eskwelaan no anggapo kayon mipapartner tan mitutulungan ed sikara,” said ASDS Mario S. Cariño to the officials as he delivered his opening message. “Kanyan no bilang et wala so nagamuran na sakey ya eskwelaan o ugaw ya success o maong ya accomplishment, ag man nagawaan no anggapo so suporta tan pikakaasakey na saray mismon atateng tan opisyales na barangay,” he added.
In stating her division address, SDS Primicias shared the SDO’s accomplishments last academic year such as SCC’s latest rank in R1AA, Children’s Summit, hosting regional and national events, Digitization of Instructional Materials, Project SMP and ISO Certification among others. She also mentioned that Youth and Multi-Purpose Training Centers are soon to be built in the division. Likewise, the Wellness Center will be renovated and an LBP ATM Machine will soon find its place in the division.

“Our accomplishments enabled our division to become better and bolder in facing the challenges of the 21st Century for our ultimate customers – our dear learners, your children”, Dr. Primicias proudly told the officials.
SDS Primicias also asked the local stakeholders to help and support the building of 11 schools in the school-less barangays in the future.
“We have 75 schools. We have 86 barangays. So, we still have 11 school-less barangays. With this, we will try that in the next years to come, all of these barangays will have schools,” she said. “Sa lahat ng mga schools na walang gymnasium, sa inyo ang poste at sa amin ang bubong,” she added.
Mayor Resuello did the honor in leading the oath taking of the newly-elected division Federated PTA officers and expressed his inspirational message.
“Our accomplishments are combined effort of the division and local government of SCC. Ang sarap ng feeling kung ang bayanihan ay nakikita natin sa bawat isa”, he said as he ended his remarks.
Meanwhile, SDO-SCC recognized Balaya ES (Small School), Magtaking ES (Medium School), Central II ES (Large School) and Central I ES (Mega School) as they topped the Brigada Eskwela Awarding for elementary categories. Along with them were Doyong NHS (Medium School), Pangalangan NHS (Large School) and SEPNAS (Mega School) as they also nailed first places in the BE Awarding for secondary categories.
Mayor Resuello, Engr. Marcelo Casillan, Engr. Conrado B. Aquino, SCC-PNP, SCC-BFP, CDRRMO, BJMP, some Barangay Captains, GPTA Presidents and officials from different schools were also awarded as major stakeholders of the city division.
After the awarding, as one of the highlights of said event, all heads and stakeholders signed the pledge of commitment to SDO-SCC in response to the call for unlimited support to all programs, projects and activities undertaken and to stimulate motivation in building a community that promises to stand against behaviors and actions.
SDS Primicias also asked the local stakeholders to help and support the building of 11 schools in the school-less barangays in the future.
