Alaminos City welcomes SCC delegates

Alaminos City through its host schools’ administrators, faculty and staff welcomed the San Carlos City delegates for the Region I Athletic Association (RIAA) Meet 2018 through a program held at Lucap Elementary School, February 12.

Host schools for the SCC delegates namely Lucap ES, Magsaysay ES, Bisocol ES and Maliga ES expressed their warm welcome through a production number prepared by teachers and pupils and messages delivered by officials from the City of Alaminos, Department of Education (DepEd), Alaminos City Division, and the host barangays. Socialization and fellowship followed after the program.

To show hospitality of the host schools especially the billeting school, Lucap ES, to the SCC delegates, 22 rooms were prepared to house the athletes and officials. School grounds were cleaned; bath houses were constructed; and drums and beddings were provided. To ensure security, policemen and barangay tanods were assigned and were at their posts based on set schedule.

Teachers from the host schools were assigned at the designated information desk to provide assistance to the delegates and respond to their queries.

According to Mrs. Marjolu Rivera, Master Teacher of Lucap ES, intensive preparation was done for the comfortable and safe stay of SCC delegates.
