Educators get due merit in Educators’ Day Awarding Ceremony

SAN CARLOS CITY, Pangasinan – The annual Mango-Bamboo Festival showcases different events and is usually celebrated during the last week of April.

This year’s festival featured the Educators’ Day wherein teachers from both private and public schools gathered for a one-day affair at the Arenas-Resuello Sports Complex.

Part of this one-day affair was recognizing the efforts of teachers who have excelled and mastered their craft through an awarding ceremony spearheaded by the Schools Division Superintendent- Dr. Sheila Marie A. Primicias.

The ceremony showcased awards recognizing the performances of schools in various areas like MOOE Liquidation, Youth Formation, Canteen Management, Waste Management and more. Administrators were given due recognition which will for sure be a stepping stone in inspiring them more to strive.

Among the Elementary schools who topped the rest were Magtaking ES with 5 awards followed by Tamayo ES and Isla ES with 3 awards each. Tamayo NHS bested the rest of the Secondary schools with 5 recognitions followed by Coliling NHS and Turac NHS with 4 and 3 respectively. Agdao IS and Guelew IS were on equal rank among Integrated Schools with 3 awards each. Private schools which include Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation, St. Charles Academy, San Carlos College, Ednas School of San Carlos and Butterfly Kingdom were given special recognition for their performance and support during the events of the San Carlos City Division.

Benjamin Resngit (Central II ES) and Leopoldo Samera (Bacnar ES) were among the Elementary School Heads who had the most awards while Tomas Ferrer (Abanon NHS) and Raymundo Ambanloc (SEPNAS) topped the rest of the School Heads in the Secondary Level.

Moreover, members of the Balon Palapag, Mentors Behind the Lens, the Schools Division’s Event Managers, and the Technical Team reaped the same recognition.

Teachers definitely were not empty handed as their feats and accomplishments for a better Department of Education, San Carlos City Division were given due credit.Teachers who brought glory to the division through their winnings, research works and contributions in various events were given merit.

This will certainly boost the morale of the entire academic community where all teachers are expected to strive for excellence as their efforts and contributions for a better academe and a better San Carlos City are acknowledged.
