LSENs of San Carlos receive Free Psychological Test

In line with the 40th celebration of National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week on July 17-23, Learners with Special Educational Needs (LSENs) of City Schools Division of San Carlos received free psychological test headed by Dr. Marcelina H. Ayson, Registered Guidance Counselor at San Carlos City Schools Division Office (SCC SDO) and Central I SPED Center on July 14.
Forty-three LSENs were able to participate together with their Special Education Teachers (SPET). The annual psychological test focuses on the process used to determine a child’s specific learning strengths and needs, and to determine whether or not a child is eligible for Special Education (SPED) services.

DepEd Order no. 85, series of 2011 entitled Guidelines on Sustaining SPED at the Elementary states that pupil development activities, training, educational visits, camp activities, sports and pupil participation in SPED related activities should continuously be supported for the delivery of quality educational services to LSENs.

Miss Alexandra Villanueva, Miss Apple May Kilala, Miss Mary Jane Pascua and Mr. Justine Aungon assisted Dr. Ayson in the conduct of the activity.
